Eigene Filme

Meine Neugier und Empathie ermöglichen es mir, leicht ins Gespräch zu kommen. So kann ich in meinen dokumentarischen Filmen Menschen auf Augenhöhe begegnen. Dadurch stelle ich eine besondere emotionale Nähe zu den Protagonist:innen her und fange actionreiche Szenen genauso ein wie die leisen Momente zwischendurch.

Ich vermische dramaturgische Kompetenz mit Kreativität, um die Figuren in meinem fiktionalen Filmen zum Leben zu erwecken. Auch hier steht für mich  die Zusammenarbeit mit den Menschen vor und hinter der Kamera im Zentrum. Was mich immer wieder antreibt: ehrliches Interesse an neuen Themen, Begegnungen und vor allem: Menschen.

My curiosity and empathy enable me to easily get to know people. As a result, I am able to meet the protagonists for my documentaries at eye level. I create unique emotional connections to my protagonists and love to catch both action scenes and the quiet moments in between.

I mix my dramaturgical know-how with my creative abilities to make the characters come to life when creating fictional films. Here, too, for me the collaboration with the people in front and behind of the camera is most important. What inspires me time and again: honest curiosity for new topics, encounters, and people.
